Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade drops to one performance per day this fall

The 2005 edition of the parade won Harborlight Entertainment and ABC the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Special Class Special. One of the most impressive floats is the 35-feet-long, 26-feet-high Steampunk-inspired Maleficent Dragon from Sleeping Beauty.
The course included a site visit to the Magic Kingdom, headquarters of Cinderella’s castle, to understand the "business behind the magic" as the workshop manual puts it. This fantastical place is home to all sorts of Disney characters, with many of them parading down the streets multiple times per day. However, clocking in at 15 minutes long or more from float to float, they’re also the biggest time commitment, especially if you want to get a front-row seat in a good spot along the parade route. He has also written pieces that are featured in Disneyland and Hong Kong Disney theme parks. In 2006 we stayed at riverside for 5 nights, dining included plus all tips included. I feel like MK is the only park where I’m willing to purchase it as an add on in the future if I even choose to do so.
Our time this past May we met several great CM’s and only had issues with a few while we were at MK being “inattentive”. I could probably give more pros and probably cons but my glass of wine is starting to kick in. I don’t like change but also feel it’s necessary so even if they cancel something I do know that something will replace it and I will more than likely love it in the end. Similar to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party parade, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is usually only accessible to guests at the specially ticketed Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
That said, this Magic Kingdom Christmas parade Parade has also been shown on a select few days during regular park hours in past years. The snowy display lasts approximately 25 minutes and usually jingles all the way down Main Street, U.S.A. at least a couple of times each day. In addition to these daily displays of Disney characters on parade, depending on when you visit, guests can also take in one of the seasonal spectacles that return for a limited run during the holidays.
Mark Hammond, whose previous work includes Disney California Adventure’s World of Color and Hong Kong Disneyland’s Flights of Fantasy Parade, designed the musical score. Mirena Rada, who has previously worked on projects for Disneyland Resort, Tokyo Disney Resort, and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, designed the costumes. You can’t beat the ambiance of watching the floats roll past with Cinderella Castle and the adorable storefronts of Main Street, U.S.A. in the background. This is also one of the most popular places to watch the Magic Kingdom parade, so line up an hour early to snag a front-row seat. Stand on the Emporium side of this old-timey avenue to try and soak up some shade. In a nod to the park’s old “Disney Stars and Motor Cars Parade,” Hollywood Studio’s only remaining motorcade sees characters cruise past in fun themed convertibles or stroll by on foot.
